Brief info

Elham Mahmoud Ali is a Professor of Oceanography at Suez University and NARSS (Egypt), Faculty of Fish Resources Sciences. In addition, Dr. Ali also got an international degree in training (CT) and human resources development consultations (from the IBCT) which strengthen her knowledge and skills of institutional development, especially the educational sector, strategic planning and project management.

The main research area for Dr. E. Ali is coastal and aquatic environments which open the venue for research in a different related discipline such as air-atmosphere environmental conditions, coastal zone management, habitats of deltaic zones, aquatic pollution and impacts of climatic changes.

Prof. E. Ali got her MPhil and Ph.D. from Southampton Oceanography Centre (SOC), University of Southampton, UK. After the Ph.D., she joined the Oceanography Centre (SOC-UK) as a researcher for three years.

Prof. Ali worked as an environmental consultant for different national (CEDARE, EEAA, Shore protection Institute), regional and international entities (EPA-Kuwait, GCC, GISCON, World Bank, IPCC). Currently, she is working as a part-time consultant at the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS). Prof. Ali is also the environmental consultant for Suez Governorate for EIA studies.
