London Green Bridge is pleased to announce a Community Volunteer Day dedicated to planting new pear trees at Pear Tree Park in Perivale, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and climate action at the local level.

The event will take place on Saturday, 18 January at 2:00 PM, and is open to volunteers of all ages. No prior experience is required—only enthusiasm and a shared desire to make a positive environmental impact.

This initiative aims to enhance green spaces, improve air quality, and support urban biodiversity while bringing the local community together through meaningful environmental action. Tree planting plays a vital role in reducing the effects of climate change, supporting wildlife, and creating healthier public spaces for future generations.

The event is organised in collaboration with Pear Tree Park Bistro, with volunteers and refreshments kindly provided by London Green Bridge. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and bring gardening gloves or a small trowel if available.

London Green Bridge continues to lead and support community-based green initiatives that promote environmental responsibility and collective action. We look forward to welcoming residents, families, and volunteers to join us in creating a greener, more sustainable London.
